Dr. Kary is a native of Fresno, California. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, majoring in Physics. After graduating from the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry, he returned to the Central Valley to attend the University of California at San Francisco’s dental residency at the University Medical Center (UMC) in Fresno. He continued to advance his education by attending the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education from 1999-2005.
Dr. Kary’s postgraduate training has included coursework in Advanced Sleep Apnea therapy at the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Miami, Florida. He has also trained with Dr. John Remmers of the University of Calgary, one of the world’s foremost authorities on Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Locally, he is a co-founder of Advanced Dental Concepts, a study group that is dedicated to providing a venue for the world’s foremost dental authorities to speak and share their knowledge and expertise.
Dr. Kary is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Laser Dentistry and an alumni of LD Pankey.
Dr. Kary resides in Fresno with his wife, Kara, a local physician, and their two sons, Lucas and Benjamin. He is a Goorabian Family Life Center board member, and when time allows, he can be found cycling, hiking, gardening or making and playing classical guitars.
