Meet Drs. Andrew Soulimiotis & Sheri Katz

Dr. Sheri Katz received her dental degree from Emory University School of Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. She currently practices within a family practice in Decatur, GA and her primary interest is dental sleep medicine.

Dr. Katz currently serves as a dental consultant to numerous sleep practices. In addition to her seat on the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine Board of Directors, she is a member of the Education and Curriculum Committee and holds membership with the ADA and AGD.

Dr. Soulimiotis has always taken a holistic approach to care by viewing his role as one of many doctors on a patient’s medical team. He seeks to understand all facets of a patient’s health, habits and lifestyle to better asses if they are experiencing the physical health they desire. Once his own mother complaining about being tired all day, Dr. Soulimiotis’ became committed to find a solution for his mom and his patients. He was so impressed with oral appliance therapy as a solution to snoring and sleep apnea, Dr. Andrew took courses on sleep apnea dentistry for 5 years.

Then in 2016, Dr. Soulimiotis was asked to join one of the top sleep dentists in the country, Dr. Sherri Katz as her understudy and associate in her practice. In 2020, Dr. Katz selected Dr. Soulimiotis has her successor in her highly respected practice. Today, Dr. Soulimiotis provides clinical training for Emory’s Brain Health Sleep Fellowship Program and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM)

About the Practice

Drs. Soulimiotis and Katz’s practice is exclusive to the field of sleep. They treats patients who have:

• A diagnosis of primary snoring
  
• A diagnosis of mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea
  
• Failed CPAP therapy
  
• Severe sleep apnea and cannot tolerate CPAP therapy
