In 1998, Dr. Addy joined the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. In 2006, she became a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Addy currently serves as the President of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She continues to increase her knowledge and commitment in the treatment of sleep apnea and snoring by following the recommended guidelines for treatment with intraoral appliances in OSA and snoring management.
Dr. Addy only works with FDA approved appliances. She prefers to work with several types of adjustable appliances, the choice of which depends on many patient factors.
